Pre-workout is the number 1 best way invented since sliced bread to make you run faster, jump higher, and lift more.*
Ok, maybe we're a bit biased. Probably because we have the best pre-workout around, but maybe not, too?**
So how can pre-workout help you to be better? Can it really help you run faster, jump higher, and lift more. To an extent, yes. It's important to remember that dietary supplements are just that, a supplement. A supplement is used in addition to, not in place of. Just like how you can't out-train a bad diet, you can't out-supplement a bad training regime. So if you want to take your training to the next level, it's time to get with Conviction.
What Conviction Can Do For You
Conviction is our very own pre-workout. There are more pre-workouts on the market than ever before, so what sets us apart? Don't worry, you're about to find out.
No Proprietary Blends
So how does this help? You might recognize a proprietary blend on the label of other products. Usually, it's a list of ingredients with a title like "Super Hardcore Energy Blend" or "Get So Shredded Blend", or something like that. Basically, a company gets to list the sum of those ingredients under the "blend" rather than listing the dose for each ingredient. This allows said company to skimp on expensive, effective ingredients while making up the difference for cheaper, less effective ones. It's really just a scam to make you think you're getting something you're not.
Clinically Effective Doses
As mentioned in the previous paragraphs, some ingredients are more effective than others. This usually means they're more expensive, too. In other cases, it's not the type of ingredient but the quantity that raises the price. For example, one of the ingredients in Conviction, L-Citrulline Malate, requires a minimum dosage of 6 grams to be considered effective. 5-10 years ago, the typical pre-workout scoop was only 5 grams TOTAL. If you see a formula including less than 6 grams of L-Citrulline Malate, then you will not reap the benefits of this powerful ingredient. That's why we went ahead and set all four of our ingredients at doses supported by scientific research. If you want to learn more, head over to our Ingredients page.
A less talked about advantage of a pre-workout is mindset. You might be hard pressed to scientifically prove a positive mindset increase, but it does have anecdotal support. Humans tend to draw on different "rituals" before exertion. Baseball players have their lucky underwear, and basketball players go through the same motions before each free throw. Powerlifters and strongmen also tend to have certain habits before performing max effort lifts. So when you drink Conviction on the way to the gym, you know what you're in for. Not just any workout, but one fueled with Conviction.
