A Girl's Perspective


There are two perspectives that women tend to take when assessing their pre-workouts. One perspective is that they want something that is low calorie, low carb, low sugar, low fat, low everything… Basically, they simply want to take an energy shot to make it through the workout. On the other hand, the second perspective is that they truly care to invest in something that will benefit their bodies while they workout. The added benefit is that it is naturally low in calories. It is safe for one to make such assumptions when these are the two most common responses in women.


As a woman, I want to fuel my body appropriately for the work that I will be performing. I want every workout to count because I don’t have time to workout a few times a day. Because Creatine HCL enhances muscular growth, increases lean muscle mass, helps muscles recover faster during exercises, and increases short bouts of speed (and all the sprinters shout!). I know that most women refuse to take supplements with creatine, but again this isn’t the generic type. This is Creatine HCL; it is metabolized in the muscle, not around the muscle so that you don’t bloat or gain water weight.


L-Citrulline Malate works primarily by regulating Nitric Oxide. L-Citrulline Malate has actually shown to be more effective at raising plasma levels of Arginine and for longer periods of time than Arginine itself! L-Citrulline does this by forming with Ornithine to become Arginine in the body. Since all three of these amino acids are part of the urea cycle, the increased levels also boost your body's ability to withstand the muscle "burn" felt during exercise, as well as increased elimination of toxic byproducts of exercise. It is a lot of science talk, but basically it allows you to maximize your efforts!


Carnosyn® acts as a buffer in your muscle tissues to battle buildup of lactic acid, which leads to improved tenacity and reduced exhaustion. Naturally, when the muscles aren’t exhausted as fast, it provides an environment to contract the muscles better, for longer. In the same way that it acts as a buffer, carnosine also helps speed the muscle recovery process.
